I have always thought the Judaeo/Christian/Islamic understanding of the eunuch impulse to be deeply unfair, having lost many ostracised friends to plague and suicide over the years. Yet within scripture, there is an apparent role for righteous eunuchs at the highest levels of Israelite ritual (Isa 56:4-7).

I suggest that the present binary model of understanding be seen within a volumetric interpretation of scripture and ethics. This Temple aims to be a structure of Law to climb. The righteous eunuchs and Tzadiks (wise elders) of Israel (Rev 4:4) are required as emissaries and interpreters of scripture, for wider ethical and global understanding, while the Kohanim (Aaron's children) are required to request HaShem's forgiveness every year, for the sins committed for the survival and blessing of the Israelite and Jewish people, towards maintaining peaceful ethical standards for all.
